Sample Preclinical Development Plan:
- Preclinical development plans provide a guide to the strategies and steps required for a drug candidate to advance to an Investigational New Drug (IND) application to the FDA. Typically, PDPs include an analysis of market opportunity, assessment of status, Gantt chart of steps and timelines, and cost estimates. These assessments are useful for academics seeking grant opportunities, tech transfer officers seeking licensing partners, and start-up companies seeking a detailed component of their overall business plan. SRI preclinical experts can contract to draft a PDP, and SRI’s full service preclinical contract research organization (CRO) is available to complete the specified tasks.
